Simran's father left the family for unknown reasons. Her mother was very poor and could not take care of her children, so she abandoned her children. Simran was brought to Bethlehem Children Home six years agon, and she is very happy at the home. When she was brought, she was suffering from acute tuberculosis, but since then with the proper medical care, she has recovered and is currently under observation. She is in the second grade at Mount Carmel School, which is one of the best schools in West Delhi, India.

Health Records: Was suffering from tuberculosis and has recovered. However,  she is still under observation.
