Puja's father was an alcoholic who suddenly disappeared one day. Puja's mother was uneducated and could not take care of the family. They all became homeless and lived in cardboard boxes. A social worker found the family and brought Puja to Bethlehem Children Home, where she was admitted in 2002. When Puja came, she had tuberculosis and was very malnourished. She is a beautiful girl who is very hard working and very loving.

Puja is studying in fifth grade at St. Mary School.
